Hygiene and Food Safety
On the afternoon of 12th March, 2019, a joint inspection team consisting of the Municipal Education and Sports Bureau and the Municipal Health and Fitness Commission came to Anqing Foreign Language School to supervise the work of food hygiene and safety as well as the prevention and control of infectious diseases. Anqing Foreign Language School's Principal Yan Hongping in charge of general affairs, Principal Assistant Lu Dan and heads from related departments accompanied the checking group.
First of all, the inspection team arrived at the school canteen and proceeded on–site inspection in terms of the sanitation of the sales department of the canteen, operating standards for employees in addition to the storage, processing, selling and reserved sample of the raw materials.
Second of all, the checking group carefully looked up relevant records in regard to the health certificates of the cafeteria workers, certificate and invoice of raw materials, kitchen utensils disinfection, food retention samples and kitchen waste disposal.
Third of all, the inspection team went deep into the student dormitory, examined the dormitory ventilation system and checked the disinfection records of the student dormitory. Afterwards, a feedback meeting was held on the first floor of the administrative building. Principal Assistant Lu Dan reported the relevant systems and practices of food hygiene and safety in addition to prevention and control of infectious diseases in Anqing Foreign Language School.
Finally, the inspection team agreed that Anqing Foreign Language School had the features of "large scale, good prevention and strong awareness". It is hoped that Anqing Foreign Language School will attach great importance to food safety as well as prevention and control of infectious diseases to tangibly attach vital significance to the two issues mentioned above.
